A: Flying over crowds or crowded areas is unsafe. Flights are limited to the outter perimeter of any crowds or events for proper and safe coverage.
Q: How long does a flight session last?
A: Flying time itself is about 5 to 8 minutes before landing is needed or to place a fresh battery on the platform. This is usually plenty of time to gain the photos or video segements you require. We do not use gas, nitro or petrol fuel RC Helicopters. We stay "Green" and much more quiet than nitros and only utilize electric powered systems.
Q: Are any permits required for flying the helicopter for my shoot?
A: No special permits are required specifically for the helicopter's operation. With any large production a permit is required for filming.
Q: What is the maximum wind speed you can fly in?
A: Operation has been successful in 15 to 20 MPH winds but that is pushing it to the max. We recommend always filming in less than 15 MPH winds. Less is better. The average day is fine. High or gusty winds make unstable video and photos and put the equipment in jeopardy. The use of video stabilization software is used to correct any unwanted video motion as needed. |
